VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System



In order to improve operational efficiency, the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System will discontinue processing routine prescriptions at our Primary Care Clinics (PCCs) effective Friday, March 4, 2016. For routine prescriptions, patients will have the option of using our Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) System or filling prescriptions in person at the VA Medical Center. Many of these prescriptions are filled by the Central Mailout Pharmacy (CMOP) by phone by dialing 1-888-633-7554. In addition, prescriptions may be refilled by the Internet using My HealtheVet.

In an emergency, providers may provide a prescription for a temporary supply of non-controlled medications through a local contract pharmacy at no cost to the patient.

Automated Refill Line

An automated refill line is available for all VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System patients. Please call one of the following numbers —

  • 702-791-9061 for local calls 
  • 1-888-633-7554, ext 3061 (for Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, or Western California) 

If you are using the automated refill line, all refills should be ordered at least ten days prior to when the refill is due to ensure prompt processing and delivery time.

Internet Refill

Prescriptions may also be filled online using VA's My HealtheVet Program. You will need a user ID and password to log in.  If you do not have one, you can easily get one by creating your personal profile.
