Virtual Primary Care & Behavioral Health Appointments
VASNHS is moving as many primary care and behavioral health appointments to virtual care as possible. Veterans can access options such as Telehealth, MyHealtheVet Secure Messaging or VA Video Connect for their appointments. Universal Masking Is Required: Effective immediately, in order to further protect Veterans, staff and visitors from potential exposure to COVID-19, VASNHS’ universal masking policy will be expanded and anyone who enters a VASNHS facility will be required to wear a facemask. Furthermore, to protect our screeners, all staff must wear facemasks at screening locations upon entering and exit screening locations.
VASNHS will also continue taking temperatures of everyone at all screening entrances. Gate hours at the VAMC are as follows:

Patient Visiting Hours:
No-Visitor Policy - Effective immediately VASNHS will implement a "No Visitor" stance, meaning the public and outside visitors will not be permitted to see inpatients at the North Las Vegas Medical Center or accompany Veterans to outpatient appointments at any of VASNHS' community clinics, unless they are directly assisting or caring for a Veteran.
- In those cases, visitors will be limited to a specific Veteran's room only. No patient visitation due to social distancing measure for COVID-19. Visitation may be arranged via virtual visitation on case-by-case with staff.
- The only exceptions will be in compassionate cases, when Veterans are in their last stages of life and receiving palliative or hospice care.

The Emergency Room is open 24 hours. The Emergency Room will not be accepting Ambulance Service at this time.
The Oupatient X-Ray Imaging is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - offering walk-in x-ray and scheduled patient exams.
For inpatients and emergency room patients, radiology services are available 24/7.

To schedule or receive Laboratory services at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center office hours are Monday-Friday Only from 07:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Other Facility Services
Within the sunny Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas, VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) provides health care services to more than 45,000 patients yearly, exceeding 450,000 outpatient visits per year. This comprehensive VA Medical Center is a 90-bed inpatient facility with state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic services. Other services provided by VASNHS include a 20-bed inpatient psychiatric treatment ward that opened on April 15, 2013. Several outpatient services are available at the Medical Center. Services provided by VASNHS continue to expand to meet the demands of the dynamic growth.

FREE Valet Parking is now available for our Veterans and visitors at our VA Medical Center West entrance
VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System Provides FREE Valet Parking Service at the West entrance of the North Las VA Medical Center in North Las Vegas.
The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System will now be providing free Valet Parking Service at the West entrance of the VA Medical Center, 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. All other services (Medi-coach, VTS, etc.) are to operate out of the East entrance. The service is available Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 5:00pm and is FREE to Veterans and visitors of the VA Medical Center. The Valet Parking Service drivers are on a salary and therefore cannot accept any type of gratuity (i.e., no money, no gifts -- no tipping). Driving Direction to VA North Las Vegas Medical Center
In the near future, Clark County will shut down the N. Pecos Bridge at I-215 East. Use signs for detour information. Use Lamb or N. Losee exit bridges and proceed South to E. Centennial Road.
From I-15 North Exit at S. Lamb Blvd and proceed North. At E. Centennial Road turn West and proceed for approximately 1 mile and turn North on N. Pecos Road.
From I-215 Eastbound towards proceed to N. Losee exit and turn South. At E. Centennial Road. Turn East for approximately 1 mile and turn North on N. Pecos Road.
From Utah Exit the I-215 heading Westbound exit at N. Lamb and head South. At E. Centennial turn West and proceed to N. Pecos Road.
