DAV temporarily ceases transportation due to COVID-19

The Disabled American Veterans Transportation System has temporarily ceased operations. All other volunteer programs have already been suspended. The Voluntary Service office remains open and can be reached at (702) 791-9134.

The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System has a Veterans Transportation Service (VTS), a program which provides transportation for Veterans to and from their outpatient appointments virtually during our COVID-19 mitigation efforts. Veterans should call 1-844-859-5074 to corrdinate options.  With increased concern regarding illnesses such as COVID-19, VASNHS is encouraging more Veterans to take advantage of virtual care. Options include Telehealth, MyHealtheVet Secure Messaging and care in the home via VA Video Connect

VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System will continue to work hard coordinating Veterans transportation network with several agencies to provide a full service plan. To coordinate your transportation, please call 1-844-859-5074.

Scheduling transportation ahead of appointment time is encouraged. Transportation will be provided from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with last daily appointment being scheduled until 3:30 PM. Please call 2 weeks in advance with appointment date and time to schedule a ride.
