My HealtheVet

My HealtheVet is:

  • A web-based program designed and created for you, the Veteran, with the goal
    of optimizing your health care
  • A one-stop shop for VA prescription refills, VA programs, benefits, services, and
    VA news
  • Personal and Military Health Histories are self-entered. To obtain a copy of your military service (health) record please visit eVetRecs system portal
  • A national website that can be accessed anywhere, anytime at: http://www.myhealth.va.gov 

What's New in My HealtheVet?

  • New My HealtheVet Account Types using (B) for Basic, (A) for Advanced, or (P) for Premium 
  • Enhanced VA Blue Button Report allows Veteran patients to see VA Notes,
    VA Problem List, VA Laboratory Results, VA Radiology, VA Admissions and
    Discharges and much more

    In-Person Authenticated (upgraded) My HealtheVet Account allows VA patients to: 
  • Send Secure Messages to make VA Appointments online, renew a medication,
    and discuss any non-urgent health issue with health care team
  • View their personalized VA Wellness Reminders
  • See past two (2) year and future one (1) year VA Appointments
  • See VA Open Notes (VA Medical Record Notes from VA Clinic visits)
  • See VA Chemistry and Hematology Lab results
  • See Immunizations using VA Blue Button "Download my data"
  • Download their Self-Entered and Personal Health Record using VA Blue Button "Download my data"
  • Before In-Person Authentication can occur, several requirements must be met:

    • The user needs to be certain that middle name in the Register with My HealtheVet page (red tab Personal Information, blue tab Profile) is filled out. Please add complete middle name. If "VA Patient" will not select after pressing Save button, enter middle name as it appears on Veterans Information Card. Then select "VA Patient" under Relationship to the VA. Please select
      "Save" red button at bottom of page to save changes

    My HealtheVet registration page process steps to In-Peson Authenticate account

    • The user will need to read the Release of Information Form, print, and sign. Link to the form can be found here: VA Release Form (PDF)
    • The user will need to present one form of government-issued photo identification to any VASNHS Primary Care Clinic front desk staff or to the Release of Information Office at the Business Center, Medcial Center 2nd floor  who will physically proof your identity for security purposes
