VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS), along with sponsors from many of our Veteran Service Organizations of Southern Nevada, will host the 2012 “Welcome Home" resource event for Veterans of all generations, their families, and caregivers on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  At the beginning of the program, we will have a special recognition event, honoring Veterans from World War II.

It will truly be a day of celebration, education, and information with an opportunity for Veterans to learn more about VA health care, benefits, educational and employment opportunities, transportation, and housing.  There will be representatives from federal, state and within the community to assist with your transition to civilian life.  Member of the armed forces that are contemplating separation from the military are encouraged to attend.  We know these agencies will be able to provide you significant information that will help you because they were chosen, based on recommendations from past attendees.  Veterans from all eras are invited to take advantage of all this assistance under one roof.

The event will be held at the Suncoast Hotel, 9090 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89145, in the Grand Ballroom on the second floor.  This event is open to all of America's Heroes!
